Bishop Kelly has suffered physical pain like nothing else he’s ever had to face in life. After suffering from an aneurysm of the thoracic aorta, during the first operation which took ten hours, he was revived from death five times and received accidental fourth-degree burns to the front of both legs. He was returned to surgery (for six more hours) when an unknown bleeding in his chest was diagnosed, found, and stopped. He underwent dialysis while his body was kept in an induced comatose state and was on life support for many days. But after over two months of fighting for his life, he was discharged from the hospital and over the following months and years he have regained strength and healing. Doctors were amazed at his recovery, because it didn’t seem possible that he could have survived. Today, he shares this miraculous story of healing and restoration in his book.
“The Lord has blessed me to be almost completely restored at this time. I can see, walk, talk, sing, and praise the Lord. All of my normal bodily functions returned, and I am not a patient of any kind. I’ve been released by the physicians, and they are pleased to call me the miracle! As well, I am pleased to be god’s miracle!,” Kelly says.
